Anxious about buying luxury wood furniture online? So are we! That’s why we created a list of the 5 things you need to look out for.
Ensure you’re buying quality wood
While it may be tempting to pick up a bargain online – you’ll know it’s cheap timber and so will your guests. Apart from the aesthetics and class of teak – it’s long-lasting and durable. It is naturally termite resistant and water can’t damage it at a cellular level. We really debated about this once we started our online store – our competitors were selling at cheaper rates because of cheaper wood. Here’s where we went back to our core values and decided to stick to teak – wood that’ll be there for you for decades. Buy once, buy well?

Rest in Peace
Have you ever had flat-packed furniture abandoned in the middle of your house? Or, worse still, left at your doorstep? This is what nightmares are made of! When buying furniture online, ask if the logistics team will unpack the furniture and place it in the exact place you want it to be. This way you can assess if what you had in mind has translated into your physical space. In case it hasn’t, ask the logistics team to help you move it a bit, till everything is just right. Phew!
